Trump's Granddaughter Gets Professional Advice from Tiger Woods Ahead of Professional Golf First Appearance

Emerging athlete preparing for significant tournament

The rising star maintains considerable online audience

Kai Trump can count on plenty of high-profile cheerleaders when she begins her professional golf debut on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be the granddaughter of a former US president, was granted a special exemption to compete at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

The former president, a passionate golfer, possesses several international courses and often matches against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we have tight competitions," she stated.

The golfer shared that her grandfather, unable to come, told her: "Just stay calm."

"He practically advised me to compete and enjoy myself," she explained.

"From my perspective, he's just a normal grandpa. He can't make it for the tournament. He's focused on presidential duties, making him rather occupied."

Being non-professional, the golfer has played in just three tournaments this year and maintains the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

However she's able to seek guidance from 15-time major champion, who is dating Vanessa.

"He represents the greatest golfer in the world," Kai expressed.

"And he's a more impressive individual. He suggested me to go out there, relax, and go with the flow."

The golfer will compete against several most prominent players in professional golf at the competition, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

Officials stated that Kai's presence brings golf to different demographics, especially among youth audiences.

Kai has a massive following and has started her own fashion and living label.

The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
